Planning a group trip to East Tennessee

Reunions, church groups and motorcycle rides.

Big groups need three things settled early: one place everyone can sleep, a meeting spot with enough parking, and a short list of days out that work for every age. Start with a base from where to stay or campgrounds by lake and park, then call the visitor bureau for the area. They know which venues and lodgings take groups. We are not affiliated with any of the bureaus linked here.

Family reunions

Lake houses and cabin clusters work best when the group spans grandparents to toddlers.

Church & youth groups

Retreats, mission trips and youth outings usually need a meeting room, a group camp or a block of rooms.

Motorcycle groups

East Tennessee's byways draw riders all season. Ride in small packs and set the regroup points ahead of time.

Sports teams & big families

Tournament weekends and multi-family trips need the same basics.

Large rentals & group lodging

Some lodging links are partner links. See disclosures.
