About the park

A free-flowing river with 500-foot-deep gorges, designated a Dark Sky International Park; the visitor center is in downtown Wartburg, and the Point Trail starts near the Lilly Bluff Overlook.

Check first: NPS’s Obed camping page currently reads “Page In-Progress.” Its basic-info page lists one primitive campground, Rock Creek, in the Nemo area.
